Stars In Our Eyes
What more can we say? Selsig are very lucky to have members who have rocketed to the dizzy heights of stardom, they are greatly missed, but they are still in our hearts and minds as we wish them the best of luck and offer them our full support as they make their hobby a career. They are:
Laura Selwood - Graduated from the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2005 with a 1st class BA (hons) in musical theatre. Has just completed a british tour of 'Never Forget', the musical based on Take That, she does regular voice overs for Nickleodeon, and has played Julie Jordan in' Carousel '(Bridewell Theatre), and also starred in 'Hair' at the Gate Theatre, London. Laura is currently going from strength to strength and is sure to be signing autographs on a grand scale soon. A tenacious and gregarious Selsig member who would have us in stitches during rehearsals. Laura is currently palying Lisa and understudying Sophie in the West End block buster 'Mamma Mia.'
Daniel Black - Is studying in his second year year at The Italia Conti Academy Of Theatre Arts, London. He was our Gallileo in our 2007 production of 'We Will Rock You' Good Luck Dan, we bet Budweiser is more expensive in the Big Smoke!
Laura Davies - Currently in her third yea year at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London. Laura is best known for her fantastic potrayal of Lucy Harris in 'Jekyll & Hyde'. She has music in her genes and is sure to make a huge star in the West End hall of fame!
Sarah Lark.- Sarah was with us for a few productions playing the title roles in " Annie" and also Dorothy in 'Wizard of Oz'. After appearing in the West End in' Witches of Eastwick ' Sarah was involved in much stage work and after a successful audition moved into the smash West end musical 'Mamma Mia' where she played a lead role on many occasions.
Television viewers would have just seen Sarah give some outstanding performances in BBC' s ' I'd do anything "'Good luck Sarah for all your future ventures. Sarah is currently understudying Jodie Prenger in 'Oliver' - all the best Sarah, we love you lots!
